The 2018 Isle of Man Linguistics Olympiad was held in February. The top twelve contestants were invited to participate in a second round, held in March. The top four scorers were invited to form a team to take part in this year's International Linguistics Olympiad in Prague. The four team members are Emily Gary, Alice Lowdon, Nathan Harmer and George Boles.
